MAY IS FLEA AND HEARTWORM PREVENTION MONTH

FLEAS:

 

Although they are small, fleas can add up to a big problem.  If you review the chart below you will see that only 5% of the flea population in a home is represented by adult fleas. The remaining 95% are fleas in various stages of development just waiting to become adults and bite your pet, or you. 

 

Through advancements in veterinary medicine we have many products available to us that will help control the development of a flea problem for your pet and in your home.  Used properly these products are very effective at preventing a flea infestation from happening or controlling one that has already started to develop.
